Thirty years ago, two entrepreneurial young men in California took a leap of faith and rented a beat-up old beauty parlor on Encino's trendy Ventura Boulevard. Their dream: to bring fine floral design to this up-and-coming Los Angeles suburb. The hard work of building a business was challenging and at times discouraging. However, their little flower shop with such humble beginnings was about to blossom.

As the neighborhood expanded, so did Adam's Apple (named, appropriately enough, after Adam Saxon, one of the two founders). In the 1970's, Adam's Apple became known by locals for its unique floral designs and extraordinary customer service. By the 80's, Adam's Apple Florist had become an industry leader throughout the entire Los Angeles area. Exciting new technology has helped Adam's Apple Florist expand dramatically in recent years; florists no longer have to rely on old-fashioned "wire services" to send flowers.

Today, Adam's Apple has affiliates in every major market; since we use our own network, we can ensure every order we handle meets our strict quality standards. In 2001, Adam's Apple Florist aligned with a prominent Los Angeles special event producer to compliment our thriving floral business. We now design and coordinate dream weddings, as well as producing social, corporate and Industry events.
